Elyse Del Francia introduced me to the lookalike business by inviting me to attend her 2nd Annual Celebrity Look-A-Like Convention in Vegas. I had a great time and met some wonderful performers and agents. Elyse was working with famous show-biz photographer Dewey Nicks (who is apparently into this crawling around stuff...) to provide lookalikes for the 2002 MTV Video Music Awards program. This publication sat in the laps of all who attended the gala event. And why did this happen? I really don't have the slightest idea but it was a hell of a lot of fun. Dewey and his wife Stephanie were true professionals and great to work with. And this is about as close to sex as I've been in over a year, so it made the convention trip extra special! |
